What we collect

How we use information

We use this information to answer after-hours calls, triage emergencies, create follow-up details for the client company, notify that company’s on-call contacts by voice, email, or SMS when enabled, improve reliability and safety, and respond to intake requests. We do not use mobile numbers collected for on-call alerts to send marketing messages.

SMS / mobile information

Mobile phone numbers provided for on-call alerts are used only to send transactional Nightline alerts about after-hours calls for that client company. We will not share or sell mobile information or SMS opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Carriers and Twilio (our messaging/voice provider) process messages as needed to deliver them. See also our SMS consent disclosure.

Sharing

We share information with the client company that owns the night-line configuration; with service providers who host or deliver voice/SMS/email (such as Twilio and hosting providers); and when required by law or to protect safety. We do not sell personal information.

Retention

We keep call, alert, and lead records as long as needed to operate the service for the client company, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes, then delete or anonymize them when no longer needed.

Your choices

On-call staff can reply STOP to opt out of SMS, or ask their company to remove their number. Client companies can update or remove on-call numbers through Nightline setup. For access or deletion requests related to your information, email eddyrieds@gmail.com.

Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do. Continued use of Nightline after an update means you accept the revised policy for future activity.
